Please Follow Me is PanicSA's proactive journey-safety feature, designed to help keep users safe while they travel from one destination to another.
When activating Please Follow Me, the user first selects their intended destination. PanicSA then uses GPS mapping to establish and monitor the planned journey. The user can also select one or more people from their emergency contact list who should be notified only if something goes wrong.
There is no need for the selected emergency contacts to monitor the journey or worry about receiving unnecessary notifications. If the user reaches their destination safely and completes the journey as expected, the selected contacts are not disturbed and no emergency notification is triggered.
What Happens If Something Doesn't Go As Planned?
PanicSA continuously monitors the journey against the route and conditions established when Please Follow Me was activated. If the system detects an unexpected situation — such as:
- The user taking significantly longer than expected to reach the destination
- The user deviating from the planned GPS route
- The user failing to enter the required PIN to accept journey changes
- Unexpected changes in the user's journey or movement being detected by the Please Follow Me system
- The user actively pressing the SOS button
PanicSA can escalate the situation.
The previously selected emergency contacts are then notified, together with the appropriate PanicSA responders and control room, so that the situation can be assessed and assistance can be initiated.
Token Pricing
There is a small token fee for using the Please Follow Me service. The required number of tokens may vary depending on the zone in which the service is being used.

How It Works
1 Token = 1 Please Follow Me journey. Simply purchase tokens and use one token whenever you activate Please Follow Me. The applicable token requirement may differ between zones, and the cost will be displayed to the user before activating the service.
